Summary

Diane Edwards brings over 30 years of experience spanning enterprise finance leadership, management consulting, and large-scale transformation. She has deep expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), strategic finance, and operational leadership, partnering with executive teams to strengthen financial discipline, improve decision-making, and navigate business and organizational change.

Before joining Emerytus Advisors, Diane held senior finance leadership roles at Freddie Mac supporting the Single Family business. She directed financial planning for a $1.2B G&A budget and led FP&A as a true business partnership, working closely with leaders to tell the performance story and connect operating results to decision-making. In a separate role, she led cross-functional SEC reporting, including 10-Q and 10-K reviews, ensuring accurate, consistent disclosures through a disciplined, well-governed reporting process.

Prior to Freddie Mac, Diane worked at IBM, where she led client engagements and managed delivery teams responsible for building custom application solutions for Fortune 500 organizations across industries.

In her role at PwC’s National Tax Practice, Diane designed enablement capabilities and platforms that improved the efficiency and flexibility of how tax professionals delivered client services.

Diane is known for leading in dynamic situations—bringing structure and clarity, aligning stakeholders, and driving priorities to execution.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with a concentration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Outside the Office

Diane enjoys hiking with her dogs, traveling, watching her favorite sports teams, and spending time with family and friends.
