Matt Posta is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Emerytus Advisors. A licensed CPA and attorney with more than 28 years of experience, he helps organizations navigate pivotal moments including finance transformation, IPO readiness, complex accounting, post-bankruptcy recovery, and global growth.

Matt began his career in audit at EY, later serving as CFO of private equity-backed businesses and holding senior controllership roles at American Express. He returned to EY as a partner, founded the Americas Policy & Governance practice, and served as Global Client Service Partner for several large multinational clients.

He founded Emerytus on a simple operating principle: saying must equal doing. Clients turn to Matt and the firm when the situation demands clear judgment, experienced leadership, and accountable execution.
